I've been playing on a heavily modded game (+200 mods) for several days and I just now discovered that there is a huge wall of trees in the Rift area between Windhelm and Riften. The problem is that I don't know what mod causes this. I even tried to load an old save (before I arrived in the cells near the wall of trees for the first time) with no mods enabled but the wall of trees was still there. My guess is that the entire Tamriel worldspace LOD is generated at the start of a new game and then is never regenerated. (I started a new game with all +200 mods enabled and everything has been running shockingly well so far.)
Is there anything I can do to force the game to generate the Tamriel (tree?) LOD again? Maybe do some things in the CK and create an ESP that fixes this LOD issue? Once I find the broken mod I could disable it and regenerate the trees. I think that should get rid of the wall of trees.
I know this is the Creation Kit forum and this is not a problem with a mod I made but I've dabbled with the CK a bit and I believe I could fix this myself if I get some guidance.
