Draugr not sleeping and activating correctly

I'm using the vanilla defaultActivateSelf trigger and script to trigger a couple of leveled bosses, but half the time they don't sleep in their sarcophagus and are standing beside it, then if they do sleep they activate sometimes way before I even get near their activation trigger. As best as I can tell, I've got them set up like hundreds of others already in the game, so what could I be doing wrong?

What's the AI data set up like? I think the aggressiveness value should be set to 0 until they wake up via script.

If I'm reading the MasterAmbushScript correctly, it's supposed to do that for you, and they both have it on them. I'm using "LvlDraugrAmbushWarlock" male and female, both straight up vanilla draugr with the vanilla script. I set the property "AmbushOnTrigger" with a check mark. They both have links to the "DragonPriestCoffinMarker" and it's linked to "NorSarcophagusTopAnim01". Also both draugr have Activate Parent links to my trigger. The trigger has the defaultActivateSelf script on it. I just don't get it, this should be working.

Could it have anything to do with this being in a new worldspace and not a regular interior? Sometimes, I can heat that Sarcophagus Top pop off from a LOBG way away. Imagine a football field and my trigger is on the opposite 30 yard line, the end zone if where they are. I can be on the 30 on the other end of the field and hear it pop open.
