Okay everyone probably wondering why I created this topic, because it put's a point on the time I first played morrowind and what I did when I got it. I just want to hear a few stories from people of what you did the first time you came off that boat and came into a new world full of stuff to discover and quest to beat. '

My first time was all the way back in 2002 on June 6 when morrowind came out for the xbox original. The first thing I did was got off the boat and looked at the people, water, landscape and the creativity of this beautiful game. Morrowind was a game that my brother told me about it and I remember what he said "Yea I was playing this game with John and you could pick up stuff and put it where you want, even the container's could fit your stuff in it. Mike my oldest brother said that in 2002. I didn't get morrowind the first day it came out, I got it a few weeks later down the road at a store called the exchange when I was in the U.S.A, now currently live in Italy. The very first thing I ever did was Create my own custom character, which was a argonian and to look at this from today i'm amazed because it's the very first thing I ever did in morrowind. It shock's me because I was looking at the back of the case of the game and seen such a master peace a game I would never forget about. A game I play for as long as im on this earth. But by far I remember talking to fargoth for the first time and he said he was looking for a magic ring which was the ring of engraved healing, can't remember the name fully but something like that. So I set out to see what I could do first, so I went to auriel corner house and bought a robe, a staff and shoe's, magic and potion etc. Then I met a guy who wanted me to find out where fargoth hiding place was, so I sat in town till night and then I seen fargoth sneaking around the tree and house to a swamp where a tree trunk resides with fargoth secret stash and I looked in side got fargoth ring 300 dollar's and I think one other thing not sure though. Then I returned it to the big nord who wanted me to find out where it was and got 100 gold. Now this is the part where everything in my mind got weird, I started walking out in the wild and realized a crab looking thing, which was a mudcrab..... So intended by myself just thinking I walked up to it and started attacking it with a dagger, which literally only hit it once before it killed my argonian character. Which my character name was Rel-Zel-Mel and I still remember that. Morrowind took me to a whole new level, when I played it and I seen what it has done for this great modding community. I realized a lot of stuff after the frist time, because I remember it took so long to load the start of a new game, which I still have a copy for xbox original and a copy for pc. It made me think like oh what is this game about? Then it hit me role playing, do whatever you want basically. Still to this day I never can forget how I sat down on my bed and played a game I would never sell or give up, I remember even when the expansion's came out, Tribunal first, then bloodmoon next. I seen so much in this game from a crazy commercial I seen to this game so long ago about a guy with hammer trying to get to his friend's house to play morrowind. http://www.metacafe.com/watch/287817/morrowind_commercial/ that's the video I watched so long ago and I still remember from this day. I just couldn't believe it a game that changed the way of gaming for a reason. Morrowind is a game I still play today and will cherish it's memorie's and everything I did in the game over these year's of my life. All I ask from each person who see's this topic, watch that video if you haven't seen it. Just let me hear your side's of the stories of your first time in morrowind.

11 year's this beautiful game has been around and I love the fact that it keep's getting better. :tes: :tes: :tes: :tes:
