So as the subject says, Aela The Huntress has purple bow. For some reason it's not loading the texture for her hunting bow and I'm not sure what to do about it.

I so have some mods installed, but none that I think would cause this, aMidianborn for instance.

Just looking for a fix, I'd appreciate any help offered.

Operating system? Steam version? RAM amount? Does it do this to other hunting bows?

Windows 7, ram is 16 gig. Everything is current as far as Steam, patches, all that. As far as other hunting bows, I haven't seen it on any other NPC. The menu image is fine, it's just the bow on her back. Not having any other issues of this sort and haven't really since switching to Mod Organizer. She is a follower at this point.

Funny you mention aMidianborn. Aela actually uses a Skyforge bow when you have the Book of Silence weapons installed. Cabal uploaded a hotfix for the missing textures of the bow, shield, and arrows.

Try it out to see if that's the problem.
