Script YAC_OC_Load error

Post » Sat Oct 26, 2013 8:09 pm

To be specific, it's:

Script YAC_OC_Load

Trying to RunFunction index greater than function count

The script will not run anymore.

It pops up immediately after the opening video (when Jiub is telling you you're dreaming, and to wake up)- before I even get my mouse back, so I just can't click on it and tell it to continue running anyway (and sadly, spacebar doesn't seem to work for cuing it along). Apparently, I have to fix this error before I can actually play Morrowind, but I have no idea what is causing it. It just started happening immediately after I registered my BSA's.

My mod list is small:

If anyone can be of help with this, it would much be appreciated. I just want to get a small load order working so I can slowly add quest and companion mods in to it, but I can't even seem to succeed at that. ;;

That script is form Ownership Indicator by Yacoby. It requires both MGE and MWSE (recent versions of MGE and MGEXE have built-in MWSE).

So, the question is: do you have them?

I have Morrowind Graphics Extender XE 0.9, which has MWSE built in, right? I load it, then I load Morrowind through run as administrator, but I'm still getting the error.

Try downloading new version of Ownership Indicator included in "HUD Mods" form http://morrowind.nexusmods.com/mods/41102/?. MGEXE changed the way that shaders work in comparison to older MGEs, that made old HUD mods (they are usually based on shaders and overlaying textures) incompatible.

Yay, thank you! That seemed to fix the problem with the Ownership Indicator. Can't believe I've downloaded the MGE XE around five times recently and didn't notice that. Sigh.

...Of course, now instead I get the same error from the script 'adul_tpc_scr'. Do you happen to know offhand which mod that is?

Quick search and it turns to be Third Person Crosshair by Adul. The link I posted above has a fix for this mod, too. :)
