People don't want classes. Just a name for cross builds

If you look at all the recent threads about classes then they are aren't really asking for classes to return or saying that they ever used them in previous games but rather it seems they are using certain class titles to name their mage / warrior build or their mage / stealth build or their warrior / stealth builds.

When you read then all mostly say Battlemage / Spellsword with the occasional mention of crusader or similar for trying to categorise their own custom warrior / mage build. Battlemage tending to be more of a high magicka mage in armor and a Spellsword more in-between. Rarely do the various Spellswords / Battlemages etc comply with older TES classes but is really just posters using the terms for their own builds.

The other titles similarly used is a Nightblade for a mage assassin and ranger or barbarian for a warrior in light armor and using stealth or speed. Again it seems that none of the builds comply with the skills given for the classes in previous games.

You rarely if ever see any other many classes mentioned as it just seems to be the ones nearest to a cross build - Spellsword / Battlemage Nightblade & Ranger / Barbarian.
