I often use the console to make Saadia a follower and give her stats like a housecarl's. I often give followers a forsworn axe or two so they will dual wield. This is the first time I have seen this. She is actually blocking with her left hand, then dual attacking after she recoils. When we are walking with weapons out she often goes very slowly and has her left hand way up in the air, like one usually does while blocking with a shield and walking.

I have had lots of followers I set up to dual wield, but have never seen this, has anyone else?

I've seen it happen when I give a pickaxe to Lydia.

Is that scenario entirely safe Sir?

I wince each time it's her turn to do the washing-up.
