Hello,

I just tried Glassboy's mod that adds glass and daedric crossbows, as I didn't like the fact that there are only two crossbows in Morrowind. They are retextured versions of the vanilla crossbow mesh, so I wanted to ask if there are any new models for crossbows that could be used, or any other crossbow mods? And perhaps also new model for steel crossbow?

MJY had one in his resource packs. Can't track it down right now. Then there's the unused one in the BSA. And I think I remember at least one more, though it wasn't animated.

Yep, I know about that one and like it But I cannot find any similar replacer for steel crossbow or mod that adds new crossbows with custom models

I think MJYs models (I really thought they needed work) are in HELLUVA Wicked Weapon Marksman archive...there are a number of models gathered together in that archive. Some of which look pretty cool. I also like the pic linked by Trancemaster, you can get that archive from a link in http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1213102-untested-resources-that-need-to-become-mods/. All you have to do I think is use Darkut's textures on it to get it to look like the pic IIRC what I was told.

I haven't tried this one: Xenn's http://morrowind.nexusmods.com/mods/22933/. But it looks like the crossbows are free to use.
Intelligentsia's http://planetelderscrolls.gamespy.com/View.php?view=Mods.Detail&id=1067 is one I have tried. And it's superb. Not sure on the usage permissions though.
