Which is more effectivePowered

A thief with flawless guild armor, all the light armor perks, legendary ebony axes with all the one handed perks, legendary ebony bow with all the archery perks, or a warrior with legendary ebony, all the armor perks, all the 2 handed perks, a legendary ebony greatsword, and a legendary ebony bow with all the archery perks. I'm in the process of making the warrior but I've already gotten to 61 with my thief. I need one more light armor perk and I've gotten archery up to 77. I used to dual war axes but I legened my one hand and put it in two hand for the ebony blade. I wanna see if the warrior will surpass the thief eventually or not.

It always depends on the playstyle.

Warriors are supreme IMO.

I'm gonna go with the warrior due to the better armor.

I can tell you that in armor efficiency, probably not. I don't know where TG armor maxes out, but if you combine it with smithing and perks to get it up to 567, it will be exactly as effective as any heavy armor.

From what I understand, armor's damage reduction (assuming a full suit) is the following, with A being Armor Rating.

DR% = 0.12 x (A + 100)

If your A is 285, your reduction is 385 x 0.12%, or 46.2%. A blow that normally does 50 hp of damage will inflict 27.

Once you get up to 567, it translates to 667 x 0.12%, or 80.04%. Since no armor can block more than 80% damage, that's the cap.

If you're asking based on your skills, just max one and then legendary it if you don't like it

It depends on circumstance. A warrior is greater at straight up fights, while a thief is a stealthier animal and would probably not get caught as easily.

The thief assuming you're using sneak perks for sneak attack damage. Archery and sneak will kill many things without you getting touched, and when sneak is high enough you can use melee sneak attacks for enough damage to one shot many enemies.

Two handed isn't a very strong style. Light armor can equal heavy armor's protection if you use smithing as well, since there's a cap on mitigation that any armor can reach.

I'd also recommend not wasting that many perks in the weapon skills, all of them beyond the basic +100% damage are badly scaled(use the base damage before perks/smithing modifications) or useless except for the dual wield ones if you dual wield.

I prefer using a 2h weapon if for no other reason than the ability to block attacks(plus if you get quick reflexes that can be a game changer). You also will have a reach advantage over a lot of enemies which will allow you to hit them without being as vulnerable to counter attack. Sneaking is technically more powerful, but also more time consuming. Why bother sneaking when you can just walk up on your enemies and kill 3 at a time with your sweep 2h ability?

It doesn't matter. Either/or will provide a very effective and powerful character.
