I frenzied Snow-Shod (the groom) into killing her for me. Unfortunately, this forfeited my bonus for some reason, even though it happened in the middle of her speech.

I shot her in the mouth and ran. I heard you can push the gargoyle onto her too.

I lost the bonus too. Apparently flinging her off the balcony mid-speech wasn't good enough for Astrid.

Unrelenting Force. What was odd is tht she didnt die from falling - she never fell off the balcony. she just slumped over dead. I don't know why the guards got so bad at me; a stiff breeze would've killed this woman.

I crushed her with a loose gargoyle.

I always use the gargoyle. It's the only way I can kill her without getting a bounty.

Arrow in the Knee of course

I used Firiniel's End, the elven bow you get from Gabriella(actually, she just leaves it at a spot for you to pick up) and shot both snowshod and Vitoria all while being undetected.

Usually a bow shot, but I've heard of this gargoyle death several times, to include here, and I want to try it the next time I play a character interested in the quest line.

I readied an invisibility spell and just after throwing the statue I released it (the spell), turning invisible even before the collapsed statue hit her (so no bounty).

That's odd--I did this and got the bonus with no problem.

I grabbed bow, pushed statue, used invisibility , ran behind some houses and teleported/ fast traveled away

a very easy quest to get away from without a bounty. I always hide near the embassy and get her with a poison arrow. Then I run across the towerways and drop down onto the street by the gate that leads to the solitude entrance under down by the bay under the blue palace.
