Hello,

I'm at my wit's end here. I recently decided to pick up the game again, and when I try to patch to 1.7,

I get stuck in a lovely little loop (The patch will start to run, then the game will start, and the patch will freeze).

I don't think I have the game of the year edition. I have that nifty lunchbox and the 2 dvd's that are in there are

one for the main program, and the other appears to be the making of fallout 3.

I've reinstalled 2 or 3 times, rebooted, screamed, cursed, prayed and scared the hell out of the cat.

What can I do? I try to connect to live, but it does the same thing. I really want to see the new stuff!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If it makes any difference, you're not the only one with problems consindering the latest patch (or in my case the GOTY).
