Hey everyone,

Having just obtained the ability to enchant my own clothing I attempted to create a shirt with a constant effect shield spell. Primarily for cosmetic/role playing purposes lol. I like the mana shield effect. While it appears temporarily it then disappears. Can anyone think of what might be causing this issue? Or is it even possible to create a constant effect shield spell for this purpose? I am using the highest grade clothing, soul gem, soul & I am certain it is constant effect. If anyone has some suggestions I'm all ears.

Don't know if this helps, but when you first meet Sul-Matull the Ashkan of Zabamund Ashlander camp, he is surrounded by a shield spell effect, but when you next time you see him he has the shield effect no longer visible. He wears the Boneweave, and Bone Dancer gauntlets. the Boneweave gauntlet has a constant effect shield enchantment on it.

So I am guessing it might be an issue with the game engine. Quick question about the item you are making, does the shield effect remain in your list of Magicka you are experiencing?
