MMM , FWE , WMK , EVE , FOIP...Alphabet soup.

Fist I will Say...yes I read every read-me. I Google and then read more. Something is not right but I cant put my head around it. I have random Crashes and if i use FOIP for MMM the game wont load, it sits at start screen with no cursor.

I played Oblivion for 5 or so years and ran FCOM +++ 200 mods. Believe it or not I have run both Oblivion and Skyrim for up to 19 hour sessions. My rig is a beast. Played a modded Skyrim for 2 years and rarely ever crashed. Maybe once every 3 months or so.

But Fallout is not behaving. The very first run did NOT start. Problem with my Asus Sound card (have to have GX mode ticked ON) . Get to main menu and Freeze on NEW game. , Google and do the gimp my CPU to only use 2 cores and finally the Game loads.

I play for a few weeks knowing full well that I will be adding mods. Yep gonna need Darn for the UI , Textures, Baddies (MMM) and the like. So I go about getting the needed tools and files. FOSE , WryeFlash , BOSS, FO3EDIT DarnUI , LAA (thru CF explorer), Texture mods and all that. FOSE Version: 0.1.2.2

sr_Fallout_Stutter_Remover.dll Version: 4.0.7.0

Yes I install a mod and start the game to be sure it still runs. Seams the only thing I cant run with is FOIP and MMM, the other FOIP patches run fine, or do they? Since using Wrye for Oblivion and then Skyrim this is my installer/patch manager tool of choice.

Are these random Crashes/freezes just something i am going to have to learn to live with, or can this game get as stable as my Oblivion was?

Most, if not ALL downloads were Extracted from inside Wrye (to a Package) and then create a working installer, then rezipped. Have not done any cleaning of mods with FO3edit as of yet. I did try to make a merged patch with FO3Edit but it throws an error about some list reordering. ( think this is about MMM and FOIP) But not sure.

IS it Possible to have MMM , FWE , WMK , EVE , FOIP behave well like FCOM from Oblivion?

At a loss. Should I just start over with mods and use Fo3edit from the start to see where things go wrong?

Anything ya need from me ask , I could bore ya farther with a ton of details of the things I have tried and done already, but this is a long enough wall of text...lol

In case anyone asks or is intrested Mod list from Wrye.

Not sure what advice to give but my install runs without almost any CTDs and I'm using all of the above and lots of other mods plus loads of texture replacers, so a modded FO3 can run very well. I DO have the occasional CTD, but generally the game is very stable. If you have 4GB RAM or more I really recommend using a 4GB patch as it helps a lot when it comes to stability. Also, I had the same issue as you have with MMM/FOIP but in my case it was EVE/FOIP - and switching from FOIP to Blackened fixed it, so you might want to try it.
