Skyrim is not on my PC. I play it on xbox so vanilla for me . I too don't understand the "dreary" comments. My game is full of rich colors. The only time it's gray is when there's a blizzard type thing going on and that makes perfect sense to me.

I played vanilla for probably 300 hours after that i started modding
