Ghostblade bug : V

Alright I am playing skyrim right now and I just used a platter from outside my hjerim house now I am under windehelm but I can not find ghostblade it apparently is under the map because I put it in a display case in hjerim and it disapeered but all I can find under the map is a piece of hanging moss help me!

"Placing it on a weapon stand may cause the Ghostblade to disappear and the weapon stand to become unusable. After placing it on a shelf, it may float around your house with each visit and eventually disappear if not moved back to the shelf."

I have never used a console Sir. Are you able to type/introduce console commands?

EDIT: If so player.additem 00094a2b 1

This will place Ghostblade back in your inventory. Else, it's a previous save.

I already checked the house can not use console commands on console I am still under windhelm tell me where to go

load an old save if you are stuck.

This Sir, unfortunately. You only get to collect it once from Ansilvund. There is a known issue (bug) about placing it in a display case.

It has disappeared and this unfortunately means you have lost it for your current playthrough.

It's not really a good weapon anyway. It is just a weak ghostly blue ancient Nord sword.

It was a gift it I had tempered it now it looks like I am going to labyrinthian for drainblood stuff

The Ghostblade is my favorite sword in the game, suitably tempered of course.

I usually use the fortify restoration loop to get it up to about 80 damage, wich is good enough for a character with no perks in one-handed or damage increasing enchantments.

I'm sorry you lost it this playthrough, if it has fallen in the void it will be deleted.

All you can really do if you want it back is to reload a previous save I'm afraid.
