Calling All Creative Writers. I Need Help With A New RP

Post » Mon Nov 04, 2013 6:28 pm

----Before anyone says anything, I have moderator permission to post this, he has confirmed that it IS NOT a "forum game"----

Hey guys, I could really use some help with writing the background of my next character for an in game Skyrim RP.

See, I wanted to try something different, I wanted to RP a character that is based off of others imagination, and not my own (as to create a character and story that is completely new and full of surprises for me)... So for obvious reasons I can't do this on my own and need some help from you guys.

I wrote the first bit to get things started, but I really need help getting the rest done. Hevnoraak and J03Z96 were kind enough to write an add on to the story already. I'd like as much help from as many creative authors as I can get. If anyone's willing to contribute to the background of my next character, just pick up where someone left off, edit a previous section, or provide input or suggestions as you please. Any and all help is appreciated.

I'll be updating the story and giving credit to the authors as it progress.

My goal is that by the end of a couple days we will have a very interesting story and hopefully a unique class/build for the character

Please follow these guidelines to keep things a little organized

---Guidelines---

- If you wish to add to the story where someone left off, begin with ... and end with ... (with the color and bold)

- Avoid any extremely large time gaps

- If you want to edit something that has previous been written quote the section and in your comment write "(edit)", if the author of that section agrees with it I will gladly throw it in.

*an "(edit)" could be adding removing or changing something previously written, or

adding something into what has already been written.

please... serious posters only, this isn't a game... I'm looking for serious help with the background for a character

Thank ahead of time,

Luke

Race: Argonian

Name: Bun-Za

(1: LukeKB) Bun-Za grew up in a quiet home on the borders of Skyrim, far away from any other kids to play with and even farther away from any type of city. His mom, Keel-Rat, was the only parent he ever knew, and to make matters worse, she was a very bitter old lizard. The only company Bun-Za ever had were the strange old women of all races his mother would occasionally have over. Bun-Za never thought much of them and the eerie glances they would shoot him followed by peculiar whispers, he simply enjoyed passing the time by playing in the lake and chasing salmon. This is exactly what Bun-Za was doing the day before his 10th birthday, he was off at the lake chasing salmons again to get away from the house full of cruel mean old women. As the day was winding to an end and Bun-Za was slowly making his way back to the cabin, he noticed something a bit strange. The cabin was completely empty, no annoying heckling, and no creepy old hags, but the silence was the scariest part, it was enough to send shivers straight down to the end of his tail. As he was about to crawl into bed, he felt a cold hand grab him from behind and hit him over the head.

Bun-Za slipped in and out of consciousness, he caught brief glimpses of being dragged through the forests while surrounded by hooded figures. He woke up bound to a chair with his hands behind his back in a horrifying room. Terrifying tools and all types of weapons hung from the ceiling, strange symbols were written all over the walls in what looked like blood, the air was thick with the smell of death and decay, and he was surrounded by several hooded dark figures. One of the figures spoke out, something about her voice was familiar. She was saying something about a covenant, but what really got Bun-Za worried was when he heard her mutter something about a sacrifice. Almost instinctively he started screaming for his mother. The woman that was speaking silenced him with a fierce slap across the face. She then removed her hood to reveal that it was his mother. It all came together, in a blink of an eye for Bun-Za: the secluded life, the strange women, the cold-hearted mother, this talk of a covenant... His mother is a witch, and he is her twisted sacrifice. He realized he had to do something, and he had to do something fast...

...(2: Hevnoraak) And so, Bun-Za made a desperate plea for help in his mind. A call to the mythos aroused the attention of Clavicus Vile, Prince of Wishes. Time seem to freeze as Bun-Za heard the voice of Clavicus Vile in his head. "Well, well... Quite a predicament you found yourself in eh, little-one? You're in luuuuck! That's right! Ol.' Vile can save you. You see, I offered your mother arcane knowledge... yet she has not held up to her end of the deal... Perhaps you can atone for that? Perhaps I can put you to proper use... in time. Perhaps, my little argonian; perhaps ol' Vile can save you... right now?"

Bun-Za was absolutely panicked, and in a state of shock. So many things happening at once, his young mind simply couldn't process everything. He was desperate, and his instincts for survival took over. "Yes Vile! I will do anything, please save me!"

It was at that moment, a single, towering, http://i.imgur.com/p8wvZi8.jpg materialized right in front of Bun-Za's mother and the rest of the witches. Before they could even react to this super-natural miracle, the Dremora slaughtered all the witches. He soul-trapped Bun-Za's mother specifically... after brutalizing her corpse... all in front of panicked, confused, and completely in-shock little Bun-Za

The Dremora then untied Bun-Za, and said...

...(3: J03Z96) "Well my little one, today has seen luck be bestowed on you, you are very lucky indeed... Indeed..." Bun-Za was still in shock, the slaughtered witches strewn across the floor, his tall, dark saviour looming over him. Vile continued, "Well be calm my little friend, I am here, Ol' Vile will look after you." Bun-Za looked around, he doubted that being looked after by the sinister voice inside his head was something to grateful for. Nonetheless Bun-Za thanked his saviour, "Thank you..." ," Oh don't thank me" Vile exclaimed, " Thank your friend who stands before you, after all he is in... my service." Bun-Za craned his neck to look at the Dremora before him, "Thank you?" The Dremora looked straight into the eyes Bun-Za, a dark feeling came over the Argonian, a feeling that all of the light in the world had gone and would never return. "I have served my master, in a way he deems fit." Saying this a red cloud came over the Dremora and he disappeared into an abyss of darkness.

"They are the most obedient servants" Vile went on, "But... their abilities are... limited. The work my servant has done before you is the limit of his usefulness, sometimes a more... delicate approach is required." Bun-Za felt a sensation of being gripped, so tightly that he struggled to breathe. "I have saved you in your hour of need, now I could just leave it at that and let you go about your pathetic, mundane life, but... that would be... a waste" Bun-Za was gasping for air but still managed to say, "What... do you.. want from... me?" ," Well my little friend there is much you can do, much you can achieve,in my name, but it requires your agreement... now do we have... that?" A terrible pain came across Bun-Za it tore into his body and gripped his insides with an icy grasp..."Well?" ...

...The pain intensified, but Bun-Za managed to gasp, "Yes... My lord." Almost instantly the pain resided, Bun-Za was lying on the floor coughing and spluttering."Good... Very good" said Vile, "Well, I shall call upon you when I see fit... Until then my little friend..." Silence... Bun-Za sat up and looked around the dark, bloody shack, he was on his own, with the bodies of the witches and that of his desecrated mother... He held his head in his hands...
