Just bought the game and finished Helgen. I now want to save, but the save option is greyed out... Suggestions?

Okay, so do you see the option to save right? And to load as well? Is it all greyed out?

I made a similar thread a few months back. See if what is says is similar to yours.

If it is, uninstall your game data then play Skyrim. Update to the latest patch and keep an eye on the part that keeps graying out. Make sure5 you can save by the time you're inside with who ever you follow.

Hopefully you haven't done much.

What i have done it's a little unorthodox but it has worked....

If the menu is greyed out, just exit skyrim with your controller to the XMB and then restart skyrim and it should work. !!!!!

After it's working again make a new manual save, and don't ever exit skyrim like that.

It sound's stupid - i know - but it worked for me twice..!!!!
