Help! Need inspiration for new character!

Post » Wed Nov 06, 2013 3:09 am

I have made like 5 new games now, and i have kind of run out of inspiration, so any playthrough styles/character styles/limitations to make it more interesting

Extra info:

I play on PS3 so no mods :(
My previous styles of play include: melee only, no kill (except when needed to)

So.... Any and all ideas are welcome, thanks :)

Try out what these guys are doing in http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1473644-the-dead-is-dead-thread-15/. Tune up the difficulty and once you die (if you die), it's game over and time to roll a new character (or so I've understood it).

This helps me from time to time, I create a character after a famous person.

Fallout 3/New Vegas I use: Famous outlaws or Lawmen of 1880 to 1960s, read up on their bio and see what type of person they were how they looked and try to create a character that resemble them or as close as I can get to it.

I also don’t use laser, plasma, or nuke type weapons at all.

Plus I have GOTY Fallout 3 so I will stay in the main area up to level 10 or 12 then head off to the DLC's areas.

Thanks for the ideas, i like the idea about keeping it real, no laser guns or super nukes, I'm thinking modelling my character after a street thug from England, cos as of yet i haven't really done a evil karma character.

Seems like quite a interesting thing to do, and would make me reconsider my preferred run in like an idiot and blow the place to [censored] style.

Also i usually play on normal, so I'm gonna set it to hard next time :)
