when I try to go to burn the behives I cant get across the bridge and I cant set the behives on fire from a distance

I have a video I took of it but I don't know how to load it on here can anybody help?

very new to this type of foram please can anybody help I love this game but it is very frustrating and has a lot of bugs in it but this is the worse at this time

Swim over the the island, go to the beehives until you're next to them, put them on fire.

Just the minimum (novice) fire spell is enough.
And you don't even need to launch the spell - simply raise your hand to the 'ready' position with flames selected, standing next to a hive, and the hive will ignite.
Terrible quest BTW. Anyone who burns beehives (one of natures miracles) is surely going to hell, heheh...
