My question is of a financial nature. The crazy sales of Skyrim show a demand for Bethesda's open world games but I'm wondering if this could be a drawback to when we see Fallout 4. Follow me....
According to vgchartz.com, find link below, Skyrim has sold over 15 million copies worldwide!
For those that don't want to click the link, it breaks down as follows. (Approx., in Mil.) 7 on the 360, 5 on the PS3, and 3 on PC.

This brings me to my questions.
Will F4 be NexGen only or CrossGen? If Crossgen, then my question is answered. If NexGen only, will
Bethesda be content to "live off" of their Skyrim haul and work on F4 until the install base reaches a decent number?
There are other options as well. In the past Bethesda has been incentivized by Microsoft on DLC. Microsoft and/or Sony could continue to do so and offset costs to create a product for the new consoles.
In my opinion, Bethesda is building Fallout 4 for NextGen consoles/PC and will bide their time until they feel that the install base gives them the sales they want.
Opinions? Ideas? Hopes and Dreams?
