Well, some people seemed to have the same problem, but I've been looking for answers, and got nothing so far. Here's my problem: I bought Fallout 3 GOTY recently, and I tried to start a new game (which is what most people do when they buy a videogame), and when the first video appeared, it froze 3 seconds later, except a little square in the upper left corner. Of course, I could simply skip the video, but if I do so, I'll feel like I missed something. So please, help me out.

I found out that the problem was coming from my hardware. However, my graphic card (ATI Radeon 4850 HD) has the latest drivers, and so does most of my hardware. I once had the same problem with the first video of TES IV: Oblivion (are every Bethesda games like that?), and I simply had to download the hotfix for my graphic card. Today, I tried Oblivion, and, unfortunately, the problem was back. But now, I got no idea how to get rid of it, and this is making me sick.

I'll soon upload a picture to show you the whole thing. Until then, I beg you, try to find a solution. If you need any information about my hardware, just ask.

I had this same problem with my ATI 4670! Except a difference, the video was fine, all but the lower part, it would freeze in blocks, like your picture. The bottom left would be the worst, and the further to the right side of the screen, it was further into the video. So at 3 seconds, the left block would freeze, then 5, the left-middle, and so forth. Weird stuff. Anyways, I hope you get a fix! I realize this didn't help you, but at least you know your not alone! (And btw, in the FO3 intro vid, your not missing anything accept a song, and some pictures of the wasteland. If I remember correctly. You could Youtube 'Fallout 3 intro'"

Yeah, I thought about that. However, it is still a bug, and that is not how I solve a problem, just by ignoring it. There has to be a solution, right? Why are Bethesda videos freezing on my computer? Please, I need your assistance.
