i believe bethesda should allow a feature were you are able to upload your fallout 3 character into new vegas without starting a new game and starting over again

It doesn't make sense, and it would also clash with any history they might include for the PC.

This isn't Mass Effect. Nothing you did in Fallout 3 matters here.

It will not be possible, the storyline is completely different and it would make no sense

Thankfully this isn't going to happen!

I wonder why so many people would think this idea would be good.

This is Fallout, and the premise is to start a character and level up whichever way you choose. And your not the same person as in FO3. Completely different people.

You were the Lone Wanderer in 3, and in NV your the Courier.

I tend to enjoy low level characters the most, and I hate it when I have to replay an earlier game or play a weaker character, as in BG/BG II and DA:O/Awakenings. It tends to mean I don't play the follow-up as much as I'd like. It also creates problems with balance, since it's either going to be too easy with your slightly higher level/well-equipped character or too hard with the newly rolled one. Bad idea!

Meh... I've said it more than once.

I'm excited to start over, with a different character. I think bringing back the little wasteland chicka would make it feel too much like a DLC ://

If there were a choice to do this, I probably wouldn't. It's not like it'd ruin my fun if other people were allowed to import their characters, however (and if there's enough interest I'm sure it won't be long before someone figures out how to mod this in, anyway...) So I don't really share this feeling of outright hate for this concept, but it's not something I'd be interested in.
