Can someone summarize for me the connection between Sheogorath and Lorkhan? Or point me to existing theories if no firm conclusion was ever found.
He's the Sithis-shaped hole of the world, created when Lorkhan has his heart torn out. So what does it mean to be a Sithis-shaped-hole? The only hole I can think of that is created is the one in Lorkhan's chest... so what was created when the divine spark was removed? Chaos? Madness? Extreme, "oegnithr" change?
I don't find it a coincidence that Sheogorath seems an alteration of Sheor which is an alteration of Shor. It seems like beings who come after have a sort of neonymic added to their name Anu->Anuiel, Satak->Satakal. So is Sheogorath Sheor come back after death/banishment with his new neonymic?
"[Sheogorath] is often associated with the fear other races have of the Dunmer, especially those who, like the Empire, might prove as useful allies." - The House of Troubles
This also seemed important, maybe because the Empire is a Padomaic force, similar to the Dunmer. Or it's just extra fluff. But I do find it interesting that they'd use him as the sigil for fear.

I know this has been discussed before. So forgive me for requesting your regurgitation.
