Good point, I never related the linear style to it being a book and I agree about the ruined books not making much sense as 1 would think HM would keep better tabs on his library.

Too linear but I loved the design and enemies. I also liked the amount of books you could find there.

Definitely one of the most memorable places in the game.

I would've liked a more mysterious library feel to it, it was too heavy on the combat/hostile environment side without enough books to really feel like a library.

I honestly thought it would have been amazing if Apocrypha had any old books from TES games that hadn't returned yet, along with a bunch of books written in Falmer, Daedra, Dragon, etc that fans would have to translate to get the stories for.
