They're following me everywhere, just swiming in close circles around me. They look like little comets, greenish white. They create a cloud up to my knees. Wispy is the only way to describe them, but not EVEN simillar to the wisps that follow the wisp mother. They don't interact at all and seem "friendly".

I have no idea when/where I aquired them. My save games two back show it, but I don't remember seeing them before now.

What ARE they?

How much Skooma did you have before this started happening?

Do they look like they are attached to your feet or clothing? Had any encounters with an Ice Wraith recently?

If this is the case, then you can do one of two things:

Drop the infected items on the ground, not a container, then pick them up and put them back on. This might work.

Load a save from before you got hit with the Ice Wraith effect.

It happens because during a fight, sometimes the spell effect gets applied to your clothing, usually it's shoes. The console command to remove the spell effect sometimes works, the problem is identifying the effect that you need to remove.

Are you in Yngol's Barrow?

That's the most likely spot the OP is in. Supposedly, these are the 'spirits' that took Ysgramor's son away from him.

If you found a way to make the Sea Ghosts in Yngol's barrow follow you...then I am very very jealous.

I've not been to Yngol's barrow. No ice wraith encounters. Yes, a screenshot would explain it better. Can I post one here? Can't see how.

Oh man, if you're in Yngol Barrow, those things will follow you to the end. When I first encountered one, I [censored] bricks. I took out my sword and shield and tried to kill it, didn't work (obviously). More came then I realized they wouldn't harm me

Do you remember what you did to get the wisps? I'd love to replicate this on xbox

Welcome to the forums. I'm not too sure but I think that you maybe have to have a few posts under your belt before you can add screen shots and links. I may be wrong but seem to remember not being able to do this when I first joined. Hope you get your wispy things issue sorted out by the way.
