Would you rather prefer another BOS and Mutant plot?

Better than androids. Robots are bland and uninteresting and the fact that Bethesda would ever want the gamer to elicit sympathy for a bucket of bolts is ridiculous. I'll take BOS vs Enclave any day over androids

If we had excellent and emotionally engaging protectrons i'd be all for it but it's the insanely advanced technology that turns me off andriods, hell there where moments in LR with ed-e that where emotional.

I'd feel so edgy. It's a robot for pete's sake! As long as it's not the MAIN focus of the game, that's fine. But don't turn Fallout into "I am Robot"

:bonk:

I want this to be real so badly it hurts. This must be what a jet addict feels like; I can almost feel Fallout withdrawal coming on.

I don't see the problem?

We are all just lines of genetic code we could one day have all of our DNA/genes copied onto hard drives one day and be robots it seems everything can be stored digitally and the brain just seems like a super computer so I have no qualms with robots having a fleshed out personality as I said I just don't feel andriod technology is plausible in the fallout universe.

In short: Yes, I would. I don't want to see more mutants or Brotherhood, but if it's more of them or android shenanigans.. more Brotherhood, please.

No you don't understand my point. I'm all for more fleshed out (figuratively) android characters. But Fallout 4 should not be a game revolving around androids and the underground railroad. That would be pathetic. And a robot will never be a human equivalent. It may imitate the human personality, but that's a far cry from being an ACTUAL human being.

In this case, it has to be. The twitter referenced "The Glow", where the ZAX series was probably at one point salvaged by the ghouls communities there, then put to use in the Institute. And they might have become self-aware over the year, http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/ZAX

Ella II might be the name of the self-awared supercomputer that controls the Institute.

I agree about andriods and the railroad but as for the whole "ACTUAL human being" I don't see anything that andriods or technology can't do to essentially recreate humans or intelligence. If I had all of my personality and genetics and thought patterns stored on a harddrive rather than my brain (presuming it was possible) I would still be human imo.Or at the very least I feel I should be considered on a level the same as humans.
