The future does not lie in Fallout 4 but in a Fallout MMORPG

It would be befitting for Bethesda, or whoever is running this circus to continue the work that the original creators of the fallout series didn't have the chance to do because of court trials and selling of IP, and winner takes it all no names Bethesda. Don't get me wrong here I think that Bethesda or Zenimax Online Studies are twice the better candidates for developing a fallout MMO. So it was a good step in the right direction for Bethesda to acquire the intellectual property of fallout because they have proven that they are more then worthy of carrying the torch the legacy of fallout and bring justice to it like its predecessor developers by making sequels to the franchise that are great, and live up to the standards as well as raising the bar higher only time will tell if they will continue the good work. I actually like fallout franchise more then ES due to it feeling more real then fictated. I know there is gonna be a collision a crash between ESO and if Bethesda decides to develop the new MMO for fallout unnecessary competition between both games occupying the same kind of genre mostly by the same company counter productivity at its finest, but it is still possible I belief in you Bethesda. I think there is more potential innovation wise, and execution wise for a Fallout MMO to be delivered to the masses of people, and become more appreciated then ESO. But, bethesda won't have to start from scratch they can build upon what black isle studies already worked upon, and tap into those beautiful concept arts developed by that studio, and easily create zones based off of that.

If only it weren't for those damned long wait for trials, and inbetween trials damn justice takes a millenium to serve justice in some places around the world.

I guess at the end of the day its just first come first served.

I am not a big fan of MMO's we already have enough of them. Some IPs should be left for people who want single player games like me.

There is already a thread where this can be discussed you can find it here:

Because of my respect, admiration, and passion to the fallout franchise I do not fell it is worthy, and has to much dignity to be in a thread titled multiplayer because I feel there should be a separate thread between multiplayer, and MMO for discussing suggestions for the fallout franchise to pay our respects to a franchise that is one of the best franchises out there in the gaming industry in all possible game aspects such as lore, gameplay, immersion, art, areas, PvE, genre, possibly PvP if it ever comes to a fallout MMO etc... and due to the title of this thread that is MMO massively multiplayer online, and not just multiplayer which has a little bullet point in the MOD's thread it better covers my expression of my opinion. Besides I'm talking about Fallout 4 not just MMO.

We must've played different Fallout 3's then cause Bethesda barely did anything right with Fallout 3 and no, the future is not in MMO. It would be nice to have an MMO on the side of the main series but I don't want the future to be played only by walking around with people named -=xXexcelsiorXx=- and crap like that. Besides, Fallout's choice and consequence wouldn't translate well into an MMO setting as no true impact will be made on the world and there is no way that the majority of players would accept the concept of "you don't get to reset your skills or stats".

But if you want a Fallout MMO we already have one, http://forum.fonline-reloaded.net/index.php?topic=1.0 . Try it.

In case no one is aware, the Op has a thread in the ESO forum where he;s suggested a future expansion pack which adds the dwemer as a playable race and retconns them from their somewhat unique TES style to the generic stumpy, drunken brawler of generic fantasy.

So, I think his research of Fallout has been just as indeapth as his research of TES. Just to put that out there.

Extremely unlikely. Running two MMOs in competition to one another with more or less the same target audience just seems like a horrible idea.

MMMORPGs are indeed the future. Just think of all the big-name franchises and AAA gaming companies that are rolling in cash thanks to their wildly successful MMORPGs. There's Blizzard and.... alright just Blizzard. But don't worry it's the wave of the future ESO definitely will not be a disaster of titanic proportions.
