Fortify Carry-Weight

Post » Sun Nov 17, 2013 10:11 pm

I need to find a piece of armor or apparel that is enchanted with Fortify Carry-weight, so I can disenchant it and enchant it myself. Does anybody knows where exactly I can find a piece of armor or apparel with that exact enchantment? Much appreciated. :D

Check out all the vendors throughout the different cities, including the khajiit.

The enchantment can be found on random generic loot ("Steel Boots of Lifting", and these things).

If you give the Revelers (a group of randomly appearing drunken Nords) a bottle of Honningbrew Mead, they give you a Carry Weight amulet in return.

The only way I make sure I get something early if I want it is to force a shop keeper to reset their inventory:

1. Save Game

2. Punch Shop Keeper, wait for the change to aggressive

3. Reload Saved Game

Keep doing this until they have the enchanted item you want. Usually I do this for Carry Weight and Muffle.

Especially muffle since it is so hard to find later in the game.

Yeah, I remember reading that somewhere...uesp I think? My first time I found it right away, since then I have made it past lvl 50 without finding it "naturally" so I usually resort to the aforementioned process.

I like to use the resto loop for Muffled-Boots-Of-Insane-Hauling. :D

I usually never have issues finding a armour or apparel with fortify carry weight, but with my latest playthrough i just can't seem to find it. I'm at level 30.

Waterbreathing is rare as fuuuuck your best hope is to find the frozen falmer holding a circlet in Dawnguard, or killing the Ebony Warrior in Dragonborn.

It wasn't that rare on my other saves, this must be bethesda's doing with these patches likely messed up on enchantments on items

Yes. Keep punching until they start fighting back or at least until they show as a red dot on your compass. Keep trying!

I also do it with Poison Resist enchantments, because I'm pretty sure once you reach a certain level you'll never see it again.
