No Longer Playing Skyrim on Xbox ... Purchased Nice Gaming Computer and Skyrim Legendary Disc. Using Steam. I had been playing along fine .. wanted to get the "Werewolf Achievement" already cured so I decided to start a new character ... always fun to start over and do things different.

My new character went along great until Wolfskull cave was literally blocked off by a patch of ice where I should have been able to jump down the hole after taking out a few enemies. Wolfskull now shows up as cleared but it is not and I cannot continue on the questline.

Fellglow keep also literally blocked ... by boulders where you pick up the unusual gem .. the exit from The Callers sanctuary is also at this juncture and is as well blocked by boulders ... and the quest now marked as complete.

I reinstalled twice and no luck.. I uninstalled .. deleted everything and loaded from steam .. same problem .. I uninstalled and loaded from my disk and it still went to load with steam .. same problem..

I am not a programmer ... console commands etc... for such large fixes are a challenge and I am unsure which ones to use without messing up my game.

Has anyone else had this problem? should I just delete my steam account and play from Disc .. Will this help? .. Any ideas on how to repair this? Thank you in advance for helping me resolve this ... I really don't want to have to start all over again but I will do what is necessary.

That part of Fellglow Keep is only accessible when you are on the associated quest with the CoW.

Deostades .. I am on the quests .. both are listed in my questline for I have received "Hitting The Books" from Urag and went to the Palace in Solitude and listened to Varnius and subsequently got the quest from the steward.... Neither should be blocked .. I have the quests ... arrows pointing to them .. needing to be done ... yet both places said cleared after trying to complete them and I cannot because they are both blocked.

Huh. That is weird.

Are you using any mods?

Since you have the legendary edition, you could just load up your 'cured' character and ask Aela The Huntress (one of the Companions) to re-werewolf-ify you.
