Any issues with mods?

Hello

So, I'll receive my first gaming PC this week, super excited. One of the first games I'll buy is Skyrim, and since the Legendary Edition on Steam only costs 10 euros more than the original version I'll probably buy it, even though the Dawnguard and Dragonborn DLCs don't look interesting at all based on what I've seen so far.

My question is, are there any problems with installing/running mods in the Legendary Edition?
(logically, it should work the same as the original version, but I thought I'd ask anyway)

Anything else that's good to know?

Thanks.

legendary edition is just the same base game packed with Dlc there is nothing new in that no change nothing so dont worry about just legendary thing

1.if you are looking to mod the game i would advise you to first read the mods page and try to know what that mod does dont go in detail just get a overview what mod does the reason i say this because people generally install everything into their game even if it conflicts with so many mods they already have installed and then complains about things not working and crashes and freezes and blame modding in general they are like "ohhhh a new mod a must have for me" dont go on this path learn first about the mod Its your game and you will only be responsible if something goes wrong

2. always Use BOSS its essential in modding it will sort out your LOAD ORDER ( which is very important in modding ) and will report of problems if it finds some in you load order

3. other than that you are good.
enjoy modding

Tip, if you install any mods from the steam workshop, make sure you read the description first and don't just mass subscribe, a lot of people just subscribe to every mod they see and then complain when thair game doesn't work, it doesn't hurt to have a look at the Nexus to see if the mod is there, Steam's Wannabe mod manager is really screwy and i strongly advise you use BOSS after you have all the mods checked in the launcher.

Or, an even better tip would be to ignore the workshop all together.

If a mod maker wants as wide an audience as possible he or she will upload to Nexus. If they want to limit their audience that's their business. I have never downloaded a thing from Steamworks and I never plan to. I will gladly do without a mod rather than use Steamworks.
