The East Coast ~2300

This isn't necessary about thesurvivor2299 website but that got my thinking: What would the East Coast be like about (a little over) 20 years after Fallout 3.

I know there have been tons of discussions on what probably happened post-F3 to the DC area (I took part in many of them) but people only mentioned a time frame in passing (such as saying this action would take x amount of decades to accomplish) but what would the world actually look like at this time.

I have a few ideas but they're not necessarily correct:

Note: This is me assuming that the ending of Broken Steel is canon and the Pitt ended with Wernher's death (and Ashur went on to continue his plan).

1) The Enclave has faded away as something to fear at this time. They will basically be viewed as the tyrants who nearly took over the wasteland a generation ago but are nothing but old stories now. There would probably be some people who claim to be of Enclave decent, and thus claiming to be pure human. I could see there being a Neo-Enclave movement springing up in DC at this time (similar to the Neo-Nazis of reality).

2) Considering how old Owen Lyons was and how much more of a soldier Sarah Lyons is, I could see the CWBoS being more forceful with their influence. They wouldn't go around acing like they are ruling a dictatorship (even though they absolutely would be) but they would push for more power in the local affairs of the settlements they have under their protection.

3) The people who were children in Fallout 3 are now in their 20s to 40s. This means that there will now be a generation of people who saw the horrors of the wasteland throughout their childhood that no longer exist. When they become parents they are likely going to be far too overbearing and paranoid because of how terrible it was when they were children. This would probably lead to the generation afterwards distancing themselves from their parents when advlts (from my experience, people with overbearing parents aren't as close with them as advlts).

4) The CWBoS have likely gotten into a conflict with the Outcasts at this point. I can't see the Outcasts starting the conflict itself. They are acting as the original BoS has and, even though the CWBoS' actions anger them, they keep to themselves. The CWBoS would probably think otherwise and believe that the Outcasts are planning an attack. To prevent themselves from being taken by surprise, the CWBoS would attack first. I doubt they would wipe out the entirety of the Outcasts but they would do a large amount of damage to them and push them out of the DC Area. This would make the surviving Outcasts either try to make a trip back West or settle down again. Either way, the Outcasts would want vengeance.

5) Paradise Falls and the slavers across DC would be defeated by a coalition between the peaceful DC settlements and the CWBoS. They would either be pushed out or killed. I doubt that they would hold trials, considering how many slavers there are and how little space there is for a prison.

6) The raiders would also be taken down by the same coalition (probably before the slavers so I guess I'm not numbering this in any logical order). This would take years to do so but the raiders would either be scarce or gone by the year 2300. This would bring many people who grew up fearing raiders (basically everybody except the little kids) something to cheer the CWBoS on for (even though other factions helped, I could easily see them cheering the CWBoS specifically because this would not happen without them).

7) The CWBoS-DC Settlements Coalition would be strongly supported by the public. It would have started with the water caravans but would have expanded beyond that as each settlement and the CWBoS all begin helping one another more now that there isn't the constant fear of personal safety keeping people to themselves. This is not all good though. The CWBoS would definitely be in charge of this coalition and, as mentioned before, they are a militaristic faction with a leader who acts as dictator for life. I do not think it's too much of a stretch to think that the people in any settlement in the DC area would turn to the CWBoS' leader to act as their leader during a crisis.

8) The supermutants would all be gone at this point. The coalition (mainly or only the CWBoS) would have killed them all, likely sealed Vault 87, and even if they didn't it would have run dry by now.

9) Ghouls would either be looked down upon as second class citizens or would be pushed out entirely. The CWBoS has never really hid how they felt about Ghouls and, considering they are now idolized by the DC wasteland, most of the people of DC would agree with them. Three Dog feels differently but his views seem very progressive compared to most of his listeners. I doubt the CWBoS would kill all of the ghouls but treating them as lesser beings or making them leave DC altogether doesn't seem far fetched to me.

10) Tenpenny Tower would stay to themselves but eventually get incorporated into the coalition or die out from being illogical.

11) Due to parents no longer needing to drop of their kids somewhere safe while they attempt to survive the wasteland (This is the only way to explain this settlement), eventually everybody in Little Lamplight grew up and lived like normal people. They may or may not have stayed in the Lamplight Caverns as their settlement. Perhaps they all still went to Bigtown and turned that into a large settlement (maybe it will finally live up to its name).

12) I'm not sure about this last one but I think that this is around the time that all of these things would have been resolved and the CWBoS-DC Settlement Coalition would begin looking towards the outside world to explore, trade with, and incorporate (they would probably use that word instead of colonize or conquer).

13) The Lone Wanderer would have been remembered like a fairy tale hero by this point. It's not hard to imagine people who were kids at the time of F3 would tell their kids stories about the Lone Wanderer.

14) This may be around the time that the coalition would become more like a central government than a loose agreement among different factions.

Now, time to move out of DC to Pittsburgh:

1) By this time Ashur would be old (he was at least 40 in the Pitt DLC because they left for the trip in 2253 and he fought in the battle at the Pitt) and Marie would be an advlt now. The Pitt would be prospering and growing now that their inhabitants are immune to radiation. I think they would grow through conquest for most of the time between F3 and 2300 so Ashur could maintain the Pitt Raiders' loyalty after freeing the slaves. The next generation of people would be far more devoted to the ideas of the Pitt than the sick enjoyment the Pitt Raiders got out of bloodshed so they wouldn't need to conquer at that point.

2) A religion around Ashur could spring up with people unable to explain how he made radiation poising nonexistent (the developers didn't even explain it that much besides his daughter evolved). If he wasn't remembered as a religious figure to the people of the Pitt, he would at least be on par with how the people of the Roman Empire viewed Julius Caesar.

3) Ashur's daughter would almost certainly be his heir. This would almost certainly set up a monarchy or monarch-like system.

4) The Pitt would be a huge center of trade. Actually producing metal on a large scale, without the negative stigma of enslaving hundreds of people to do it, would result in the Pitt becoming a superpower in trade.

5) This may result in the CWBoS-DC Settlement Coalition feeling threatened and beginning to spread out to trade fresh water (which probably wouldn't be worth much in most places, considering how much of it is in the West) and advanced weaponry (not their best stuff, just to keep as much of an edge as they can against the Pitt).

Of course I have to have missed several things and probably got at least a few things wrong. This is definitely far from a perfect list.

And if a mod thinks this belongs in the Fallout Series Discussion than Fallout 3 Cheats, Hints, and Spoilers, that's fine with me.
