So I'm working on a mod (Legacy House) that will add a sub-basemant for vampire characters. I'm completely stumped on making vampire cattle. I've tried custom NPC that uses markers to laydown, I've tried adjusting their AI schedules to do nothing but sleep and I've even Navmeshed the room (with limited knowledge using videos) but my NPC just stands there never sleeping or even laying down. I must be doing something wrong.

I've tried importing Dawnguard but it seems bugged and just crashes my kit everytime. I know that DLC uses cattle but honestly, I'd rather make a vanilla mod for vampires to call home. Please help me out.

I've searched the forums but didnt find anything and looked for videos online using google. I find things similar to what I'm looking for but none of it worked as stated above.

If you just want them to use a specific furniture item them you can link reference you NPC to the furniture you want but make sure to setup your furniture so that it is marked as patrol and set it to have at least 1 second, if it's the only piece of furniture they are linked to then they should stay there all the time.

Dawnguard is crashing CK because the editor.ini files need to be adjusted so that CK can see all the resources (check out the CK bug thread, we were just talking about a similar problem there).

If you want your cattle so that your vamps can bite on them freely then you need to add your NPC's to 2 extra factions something like cattle, or thrall in the names (escapes me just at the moment)

I was trying the marker on a bedroll with a linkref but NPC just stands there. I may have missed marking patrol but I'm pretty sure i got that one too. Yeah I only link the one bedroll, there's no other furniture in the room. The NPC literally just stands in one spot never moving. I'll keep looking.

Oh and I did add vampire thrall to the faction but I think i missed cattle. I'll recheck that one too. I just can't get the npc to lay down so I havn't gotten to feeding yet.
