I want to redo my ThiefAssassin, tips?

Post » Tue Nov 19, 2013 12:38 am

Basically I have an assassin Mage who uses Conjuration, sneak, pickpocket, lockpicking, one handed, archery, alteration, and light armor, illusion and alchemy. I want to narrow it down. I want to use real weapons, not bound anymore. I want to be deadly, but I don't want to micromanage a ton of skills. I want to take alchemy for sure, but I'm afraid that if I don't use conjuration, then my attacks from my weapons won't be very good. I was thinking Smithin, but, if I smith up to ebony ONLY FOR WEAPONS, do you think that defeats the purpose? Help please.

There's this build:

This is more an assassin-mage approach that combines illusion with daggers. No enchanting. Use Nightingale Armor and potions and poisons for better results. Put some points into Magicka because you will not have lots of Illusion spell costs' reduction.
I'd be a Dark Elf or a Breton with this one.

No Magicka at all. Uses archery as a secondary skill. I recomend the use of Dark Brotherhood armor with this one (you can always replace the chest piece with Thieves Guild piece or Guild's Master piece so your character does not look like a skinny lizzard with leggins all over its body).
I'd be a Nord or a Bosmer with this one.

Currently, I am playing with this build:

It's a bosmer. I'm still undecided if I use Vagabond Armor (mod) or Bosmer Armor Pack (another mod) for my armor selection. I'm a Bosmer :D
