Still finding new things?

This is more so geared towards those with high hour counts and the vets. What's the last new thing you've discovered even after playing for hundreds of hours? Can be location, item, etc.

I've had Dawnguard since release played through completely once and partway through a couple times. This week I've had two random incounters that I haven't had before. The first is "the Traveler", the second is where a random person comes up and says" they have been attacked by vampires and do you have a cure disease potion".

I have went through a couple "new" ( to me) Dwemer ruins, I made a decision not to go into ruins unless a quest directed me to.

I just found out that when leaving Whiterun, going past the tower where you encounter your first dragon, there is a house foundation on the side of the road that has a chest under the floor.

That "Heal Other" works on hurt animals, too.

Why don't you explore Dwemer ruins unless it's quest related?

Thanks! I never knew about this.

There's also a really small chest(between some barrels) behind a house in Whiterun which I randomly found. Near Olava/Ysolda.

I think it's safe to say that I've discovered and done 98% of everything Skyrim has to offer. There are very, very few things I haven't seen or done.

One random encounter I have not yet seen is Babbette feeding at night.

One thing I have not done is do the CW during the MQ so that Season Unending could be different.

Have you been every where on the map? Overworld and dungeons?

Yes. The only places I have not bothered to discover are the 4 or 5 mountain peaks on Solstheim. And even those are nothing special.

Maybe they offer some nice views :) I haven't been to Solstheim yet.

As many times as I have run the road East out of Whiterun, tonight I discovered for the first time an Iron Ore deposit not too far from the log with the Nirnroot near it. I guess I am usually too busy trying to rip butterfly wings off their owners to notice :)

I have now played Skyrim for 1371 hours (so says Steam) - restarted the game x numbers of times of course - and I do find better enchanted items than mine homemade ones. Because of mods installed sometimes I'm not sure if certain items belongs to vanilla skyrim or some mods. I have all addons installed and to top it, ENB (graphic modification) by Boris V.

Cheers,

KK
