Just looking for opinions as to which would be best to use. It's mainly the Battleaxe that I'm interested in. Nord Hero Battleaxe weighs 20 and has 21 base damage. Ebony Battleaxe Weighs 26 and the base damage is 23. Is 6 units of mass worth 2 extra base damage?

I normally go for which ever looks better. In this case, the Ebony Battleaxe does. 6 pounds really isn't much.

I think the Ebony Mace is the second nicest looking weapon in the game, after the Dragonbone dagger.

This isn't Dark Souls where weapons all have different stats and abilities, nor should it be. Go with what you prefer aesthetically.

I don't think the 6 lbs and 2 points damage is much, I would go with which ever one suits your RP better... or which ever one you think looks better.

To answer your question I'd say Nord Hero. Nord Hero deals identical damage with Skyforge Steel, but has the fastest swing speed and lowest stamina cost.
