Prologue

The streets was of Shibuya was in despair. Buildings were trashed out, and looted. The homeless lived on the streets of what was once Tokyo’s fashion center and major nightlife area. Japanese Army troops or at least the remnants of them with their American friends patrolled the streets. Their robots stood beside, notably different as the Japanese focused more on robots of humanoid design and some, just outright odd in every sense compared with America’s radically differently designed robots.

And then suddenly Air-Raid sirens warned all over Tokyo. It reached all across Tokyo wards. Shibuya was one of them. People stopped for one second. To realize what was happening. Then chaos erupted. Hordes of people ran towards Shibuya Station as many descended down below. Yet in front of them, several Japanese soldiers in heavy riot gear. They formed a line though as people wanted to get in to the station but formed a small pocket where people went funneled pass the soldiers. Japanese troops along with their robots abandoned duties and ran into the station itself. American soldiers in Power Armor, Combat Armor ran into the metro.

“Yes? The doors are going to close? Roger that.”

The Japanese soldiers who formed the small pocket grouped together to form an impenetrable wall. As the civilians charged against the Riot officers to gain entrance, one by one the Riot Officers entered down as hordes of people clamored in.

Then large doors from a crevice started to close the entrance into Shibuya station as more people shouted and scream. The sounds the doors made were elegant. A wind like sound. As sunlight grew thinner inside Shibuya, you could see the last few people make inside the Metro.

And then the doors connected together. Some were trapped as the doors closed upon them as the doors squished their bodies into pieces, where blood and guts flew out to the shock of those who were inside as they screamed in agony. The doors where then covered by a large yet sterile silver walls.

Then a large explosion was heard. And then a second explosion and a third and a fourth. It ended and the people knew those were the missiles. Voices started to lower and anxiety lessened yet the atmosphere in Shibuya Station was still tense. Though those who escaped within the confines of the Tokyo Metro knew they were safe.

Japanese soldiers in heavy riot gear formed together to recollect. But then suddenly a man in black undercoat bearing the Chrysanthemum approached them.

“You did what you had to do" he said solemnly. Go on and take the ride to base. We have soldiers to relieve you.”

They all nodded. They carried their large equipment and waited near the subways lines with the civilians. Their faces looked blank. Ready to face the new reality of the world they were going to live in.

I know what your thinking that this is basiclly Metro in the Fallout universe with the Russians switched with the Japanese. It is true that the prologue scene was inspired from the Metro live action trailer. Though the story by no means is no a Metro ripoff.

I also ask for constructive criticism. It's been about 4 to 6 years since I have written a Fanfic. Anyway I hope you enjoy this.
