High Rock Rebooted

This thread is for fans of the Bretons in the Elder Scrolls games.

In Arena , Bretons were described in part:

http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Breton

In order to guide others to enlightenment, one must be enlightened themselves, yet the description of the divided and feudal nature of Breton government as described in the "Pocket Guide to the Empire" belies the idea of them being enlightened. If Bretons are enlightened, then they would have government that reflects that enlightenment.

So in this thread discuss how to have the Breton government restructured to reflect the government of the enlightened and how Bethesda could/should bring this about.

A baseline premise for this thread is not only that High Rock should have the most modern government in Tamriel, but it must not be too modern so as to be anachronistic. As such, I am advocating High Rock develops the first Parliamentary government in Tamriel.

What form of Parliamentary government should High Rock adopt and how should Bethesda get them there?

If you disagree with the premise of this thread, then find another thread more to your liking.

I am not exactly sure whether this is another joke/troll thread or serious idea. But for the sake of discusion I will assume that you are serious about this.

1. Any piece of lore from Arena should be taken with a grain of salt, for one thing in Arena we had Daemons , and I don't think that Druids of Galen were ever mentioned again in lore, being replaced by idea that Bretons are effect of elven nobels taking manish concubines. But this is something that you proboly know already.

2.You got to love thread about discusing idea where in the very opening post author says that disagreeing with idea is forbiden.

Also you got to remember that High rock never was one country , when you ask about a true leader of High rock when you say king do you mean King of Wayrest or King of Daggerfall ? All I am saying that in order for that idea to work High rock should be united and it isn't and never was.
