i currently have all Dragonbone stuff, but I was thinking about switching to Daedric.
Should I? I would have to find a bunch of daedric hearts tho qq

Just buy them from the guy in the Winterhold College (the Daedric hearts.) Daedric is the best when it comes to Heavy Armor, and the Dragonbone Light Armor set is the best Light Armor in the game I think.
Enchant the parts of your armor with Fortify One-Handed or Two-Handed with the best soul gems you have so you get the most profit from your new armor, also when smithing, enchant some clothes with Fortify Smithing so you can improve your new armor even more.
For me, that can be answered with a simple question.
Which one looks better? I'm an aesthetics kind of guy.
Dragonbone is somewhat less protective but weighs less than Daedric. So that may have an impact for your choice aswell.
choose what you think is best looking. if you use smithing it does not matter as they will go far above the cap anyway. so taking it because it has more armor is useless.
I would go with dragon as I think daedric is one of the worst looking armors in the game
As stated, go with what suits your character. I like Dragonscale, but then again it is not heavy armor.
I'd stick with dragonbone as I think daedric looks nothing less than hideous and would never let any of my characters wear it.
I can't wear daedric on my characters...it is just ridiculous looking. Some of the weapons look alright, but I much prefer the look of dragonbone for armor
Just do the quest, "pieces of the past" started in the dawnstar museum.
You will have access to four daedra hearts every game week or so.
Personaly, dragonbone is the way to go. Daedric has too many.... spikes.
Same here, Dragonbone looks to me like a caveman craftsman made it and Daedric is youtube warrior armor...I can't take any character serious in that over-the-top overlord suit.
But da Daadrick Armor has Level 90000000000000000003946 protection and is da best armor (nevermind the 567 AC) and if yu dn't hv it yor a n00-b.
I think Daedric actually looks pretty nice.
But maybe that's because I like to play the dark and "demonic" type of characters.
Funny how Elven or Orcish is just as good as Daedric if you use the skill trees right.
Pretty much spot on as to why I like it (as well as Daedric armor found in past TES games). But apparently you're not suppose to look at it that way and like it for what it is because hipster logic. The reason for disliking it because it's "Youtube armor" is just as ridiculous as people liking it because it's "pro armor and everything else is noob".
The entire improvement system disregards any sort of variety and progression in getting better armor, besides aesthetics. One reason I rather dislike the system. Armor is no longer based on stats and progressing to better tiers, just a fashion contest.
Yeah. I personally don't care how popular the armour is or isn't. If I love it, then I love it.
That said, I'm also a big fan of the Gothy black armours in fantasy games.
And Daedric definitely describes that, with the chains, rugged cloth and morbid spikes.
The Elder Scrolls is fantasy, so why not get a bit artistic with certains pieces of weapons and armour? Sure, it would not work with steel or iron. But for something mystical like Daedric it will.
I'm of two minds on the subject. On the one hand, I'm quite pleased that I don't have to wear the tackiest stuff to have a chance of surviving the endgame. On the other, it does render armor to simply an aesthetic.
I still think each of the armor sets should have had their own innate perk (beyond enchanting) that you could make use of (for example: Dragonbone decreases physical damage by dragons, Dragonscale resists shouts more, Falmer adds resist Poison, Daedric adds resist poison and makes it more likely for the enemy to flee). They should also have been used for disguises, so as a member of the Legion you could dress as a Stormcloak to walk through their camps (and vice versa), and so on.
ha that's the ultimate form of hipster, purposefully choosing the mainstream to go against hipsters
I don't like any of the overly gaudy armor like Daedric or Glass (even back in Oblivion) and always go for form over function so being able to wear what I want and being reasonably protected at higher difficulty/levels is a good thing in my book...I know it counters the classic RPG sacrifice but the best is still the best for tanking (without exploits).
Dragonbone looks better unless you're into the demonic overlord vibe. I go dragonbone since I don't lean that way. Only place I like Daedric is on my X-Box avatar.
