Having just watched the latest Doctor Who, I really realise now that the only choice for an english ghoul character (with a touch of class of course) is John Hurt, it's just that particular voice of his. I think that would be interesting.
Ghoul voices are a little rasp, but they're not that hard to do. Practically every decent actor in the world could pull it off, IMO.
Tom Waits.
John Hurt.
Julie Kavner.
Linda Hunt.
** Better: Jim Cummings; Frank Welker.
Second the Tom Waits.
Nick Nolte
Brian Doyle Murray
Kathleen Turner
hahah
Gibert Gottfried

Personally, I'd rather have a relative nobody doing them. Getting top names in the biz leaves less money for more important things we could use...like better writers.
at the same time, using celeb voice actors could be a draw to sell more games; the ends could justify the means. I gotta think the budget for the next game is going to be huge; I'm not certain voice talent would have mean sacrifice in writing.
At voice acting? The only television/film celebrity I know of that actually puts any real effort into voice acting is Mark Hamill.
