So I try to sneak up on bandits with my bow and they cannout see me what so ever, I shoot at them and they make this magical slide to the left without any animation.

Normally when they see my and they strafe with THERE FEET, im not bothered. But when they can suddenly become omnipresent and know whats going on all around them and suddenly slide across dirt and stone like it melting ice it really makes me angry. So tell me have any of you guys encountered this?

No animation. I also did not see that thread, must be a big issue.

But that is annoying though. What's worse is that on occasion, they do it like 3 times in a row.

Well, looks like I'm lucky, mine strafe normally, at least until now. That's why I didn't understand what they were talking about on the other thread.

You haven't seen it? Lucky.

As an example, put your hand on a surface and glide it really fast to either your left or your right. Some NPC's glide like that even when you're undetected.

I had understood what you meant by "magical slides" (as I had seen lots of them in Oblivion).
