I was thinking about this the other day but on a recent topic regarding NPC's changing clothing someone mentioned a gift giving option in skyrim but my idea is similar but not entirely the same.

As alot of you know dawnguard added several new clothing types for dawnguard faction and Vampire Faction, Volkihar: and for some odd reason whoever designed the items for Vampire Gloves and Hood decided to keep them exclusive for the dawnguard faction questline. My idea is simply similar to the function of Darksiders 2 where people can gift items to other people through the online network, this way if anyone has played the dawnguard faction on a save they could send plenty of vampire hoods to friends on PSN/XBL/PC(well PC players can just use console commands) but with this there would less worries about items we can't find because of poor design choices by the devs. Despite the fact the gloves and hood are just re-colored of the standard ones, it's pretty ridiculous how these items cannot be obtain at all if you're on the vampire faction, despite having the vampire name on the items. Sure there's vampire gauntlets but maybe some people would prefer the standard gloves over them.

Or another method is transfering certain items across saves by ourselves, in the same way Borderlands 2 utilizes the claptrap locker across for any new characters in the sanctuary for 4 items max.
This would allow us to experience both faction quests while benefiting a different save getting a piece of clothing we weren't able to obtain before for role-playing purposes.

Would this be a cool feature to add? Unfortunately this could be exploited by making crazy enchantments on armor or weapons and giving it to new level 1 characters. It's not perfect but it's something i think could help in the future.
