chokeholds?

Id like to be able to chokehold NPC's..

It would work well for stealth characters, and I could roleplay interrogating them before I knock them out or snap their neck.

thoughts?

Sounds like a great mechanic to replace the current multiple damage on hit system. As for fixing stealth as a whole, I think they will have mastered the systems they had put in Oblivion like NPCs, voice overs and the way that stealth works due to light casting.

It would be nice to go Sam Fisher every once in awhile and not have to kill every enemy you come across.

Just give me a blackjack to knock guards out.

Chokeholds, joint locks, and pressure point submissions are probably a bit much . . .

I dont think it would really fit the style of game... Though nonlethal weapons I do support. That and diplomacy, like speech-craft actually letting you talk your way out of having to kill someone. Sounds simple yet...

^^ agree with LastDual, beat me to it ^_^

I don't know why choke holds would be a little much. Choke holds would fit more for Hand to hand from stealth. As for with weapons, you should have some kind of assassination animations if the attack from behind would kill them sort've like in AC.
