I found The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim? Legendary Edition in Uplay Store, for sale.
It says nothing about the requirement to have Steam.
Does that mean I can finally play Skyrim without Steam?

Last time I asked Ubisoft about something, it took one week before I got the answer.
So I thought it was possible there was someone who knew the answer here.
As usual, http://www.reddit.com/r/GameDeals/comments/1r4g1l/uplay_tes_v_skyrim_and_legendary_edition_7502040/.
Every version of Skyrim requires Steam, there's no (legal) way around it.
Never heard of Reddit before.
But thanks for your help! Appreciate it.
uplay is not very refined... not that steams great, but it atleast has years of trial n error over uplay..
Let's not play, Uplay Sir.
It's half as clueless as (EA - aaarrrggghhhs) Origin client.
And twice as pants.
Get the disks.
(Pulls shawl over knees)
What's up with the youn'uns these days? Blinking clouds and flipping services...
Plus who knows you might have to have both uplay and steam running to play that version. That is a scary thought.
Best to either get a disk copy or get it from Steam directly. For me the only option is the disk copy since I have internet bandwidth caps.
I'd recommend to check many other key shops. Don't rely only on the obvious choices, other shops may sell keys for a low price.
