These are the updates that were installed and then removed. It is good to know that they could be removed one at a time rather than doing a system restore. I doubt that it was the Microsoft Security tool, kilbits, Software removal tool or the Internet Explorer update that was causing the problem but I have not tested this. Not sure what the other Security updates tweaked. If no one else has experienced the same problem then perhaps it was due to some Windows glitch that was cured by the system restore. Would be interested to know if this has happened to others.
