Animals' friend

Post » Wed Dec 04, 2013 12:59 am

I chose the animal's friend perk second rank and I'm happy for being now able to stand close to a Yao guai and almost feel empathy from him. But please, can you add Animal's friend rank 3 so I can ride it? I would like to ride in his back so I can visit new places faster and I "feel" that he would like to take me in trips. Cheers.

PS: Is there any working motorcycle or bycicle or whatever in game? I haven't found yet one simple vehicle

There are no vehicles in the game. From the mods that have added vehicles, it makes sense that there are none in the game. (:whisper: there is no where of any distance that you need to, or can, drive to)

As for Animal Friend, I just take the first rank, I don't want animals killing themselves for me. Plus, if you do things right, you can still use the animals to attack NPCs. You just have to get the NPCs to come to the animals.

Thanks for your response. Haven't tought of that of animals killing each other for me.

One question, there's a place Old Olney where some animals called Deathclaws are really hard to take down so I made some Darts and use them to make one only but more powerful, and now I use the darts to shot them in the leg to slow them down and then I kill them with the Flamethrower or other weapons. Is it the way to do it? I killed them all, I have all their hands in a closet, I can prove it.

Other question: do you keep your stuff that fills you up in a particular space? I collect all my misc tools and stuff like that, like all the suits I get like a collection of them, in MDPL-21 Power station because it has a bench to make weapons and it looks like a safe place. Do you recommend another space? thanks in advance

There is no "right way" to kill one of the most powerful enemies in the game. Personally, I use the Terrible Shotgun by shooting them in the head.

Most people will use their home (Tenpenny Tower or Megaton).

For me, I don't carry much because there's so much of the stuff out there. I take only what I need, and leave the rest. No point in selling loot in the game.
