Okay, since a mod thought that we as young advlts were immature and couldn't voice our opinion without killing each other for having one, and before i could even post a second time after starting the original post i have to do this again because appearantly we started the internet version of the watts riot.

now i have to say, with this not being a versus post, If,

If obsidian, which is made up of black isle's elite didn't want to change engines but they changed back some of the guns then they should at least have gamesas's in the game. my point is that beth's designs weren't that bad, if a gun survived a atomic blast and was repaired by untrained experts with the standard of "it still shoots!" despite the fact it's made almost completly out of other gun parts and because of lack of government passed from hand to hand instead of being maintained by a security force for two hundred years looked crappy it's because it would in reality.

now i looked at black isle weapons and the plasma pistol, which was my favorite in fallout 3 looked too high tech to be made by a civilization stuck in the style of the 50's which most of the energy weapons are. i like my energy weapons gaudy! the only thing that says energy on the new one is a glowing green rectangle on it's side! sure the gamesas plasma rifle was ugly but at least it didn't have butt cheeks on the back!

If mods locked your last thread then you're not supposed to make another one without their permission. This one will most likely be locked too. Just warning you.

I do agree that some of the guns in Fallout 3 should be brought over to NV. Just because it's across the country doesn't mean they'd have an entirely different set of guns. Some would be, obviously, but certainly not all.

Both team's design choices look fine to me though. I didn't see anything wrong with the guns in the new NV video.
