Pipboy 3000 stats

Post » Wed Dec 04, 2013 6:54 am

Hi all,

Re-installed windows & fresh steam install with Fallout: New Vegas.

I have a question or 2 about the pipboy 3000 stats, I know it's classed as cheating but I am posting in the cheats section.

I have created a strong character & selected to show the all locations via the console, my pipboy only shows 1 or 2 locations.

I found the code to change stats on the pipboy 3000 on a site ages ago.... should have bookmarked it.

On a previous install I somehow figured out how to edit the stats via console codes - like one is able to with quests I was able to type in the exact amount of discovered locations and it worked.

I was also able to alter other stats such as people & creatures killed

I have tried numerous times to recreate the desired effect but to no avail.

It was a long time ago and I can't remember the console code.

I have searched online but can't find it

I am a bit ocd but I like it that way.

I hope someone can help with the correct codes

I will keep searching online for the exact code

Update:

If I remember the code it was a player. console command but I'm not sure.

I found the codes !!! :twirl:

Searched the G.E.C.K. site and found it - ModPCMiscStat - desired stat - variable

This can be closed now.

I'd like to take this opportunity to make my first ever post in the Fallout Forums and say that console command is also borrowed by Skyrim.

Console commands are a normal part of Bethesda games, they exist in every title. So it's not a question of Skyrim "borrowing", it's just a standard procedure.

No, it's borrowed :P A lot of Fallouts commands were carried over and cannot be used.

And with that said, I go back to forgetting this forum exists.

Console commands have been a staple in pc computer games for decades, since they were first used by developers to help them troubleshoot issues, and many games left them in for the final release of the game.
