Missing NOM Mesh causes CTD

I'm using NOM for two months now and had no problems until I run into one issue today:

After leaving Balmora and heading the way north to Cadera, just after the road sign and the road splitting right to Fort Moonmoth (where the corpse of an Ernil Omoranlies) I get a CTD and a message:

Model Load Error:
Meshes/midevil well.nif cannot load file in Meshes/midevil well.nif
Will use the default Object Marker_Error.nif

Sometimes I can get back to the game but sometimes I get serious MGE EXE warnings and the graphics dissapear.

I think it's a problem with a well placed by NOM and I only need the correct mesh for it.

Could somebody help me, please?

UPDATE:

When I arrive in Cadera via Mages Guild Transport and exit the Guild I get the same error message but without the CTD.

Checked the only well in Cadera: it has no error markers and if I click it in console mode it is named "nord_well" and not "midevil_well"

Any clues?

to find the mod(s) needing the resource, look for "midevil well.nif" string inside your mods

So from your preferred file search tool (Windows search, http://www.ghisler.com/download.htm, http://www.freecommander.com/fc_downl_en.htm, http://wingrep.codeplex.com/, http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/search_my_files.html ...) you will look for

*.es? files (where * means any name, ? means any character so both modx.esp, mody.esm will be found)

containing midevil well.nif string.

To speed search, look only inside Data Files\ folder level

I found the file with one of the tools You proposed, Window search did not work as I tried it before.

The tool found three references:

1. SSE_NOM.ESP in data files

2. SSE_NOM.ESP in data files/mash/backups

3. SSE_NOM.ESPf in data files/mash/backups

The Mod is an NOM-fix for Sotha Sil Expanded. I took it from http://morrowind.nexusmods.com/mods/42347/?tab=2&navtag=%2Fajax%2Fmodfiles%2F%3Fid%3D42347&pUp=1

What should I do next?

Maybe Trainwitz can help?

Great: Your suggestions were all very helpfull.

After adding the midevil_well.nif (guess it was ment to mean medival :geek: ) and the textures RockWalk.tga and Wood1.tga from MMH it works again.

Should the problem be reportet to either Trainwiz or Taddeus? I don't know... but many thanks to You all.
