How do I check if it is north american english, European english or?

Could someone also explain me the way of checking it on Oblivion alone?

Seems like it doesn't matter which English version my oblivion is as soon as I got shivering isles in English.
All I gotta do is just get the shivering isles english patch and I'm set off.
