So *spoilers* but then again if you havent played Skyrim by now...whats wrong with you Anyway
So for the next ES game in line [Not counting ESO I'm talking in succession so ESVI] do you think Titus Mede will have been killed? For the Dark Brotherhood quest in Skyrim your end goal is to kill Emperor Titus Mede II, now in previous ES games [Not counting Daggerfall/Arena, I did not play them] you assassinated people, but never anyone really...idk the word.."main".."essential". I mean you killed some villager, a rapist, a random pirate, some people around Vivec etc and even your own members [Lawl DB] but in Skyrim you actually have the chance to KILL the current Emperor. So I'm curious if him being killed is considered canon.
You could say "Oh its our choice so what I beleive to be true is true" and that almost always works, since in ES games only the major plot points are carried over [Champion of Cyrodill, you become Nerevar etc] but another Emperor being assassinated, with things being so tense with the Thalmor..idk
Is the Emperors death gonna happen regardless? In the next ES game are you gonna hear "Oh Titus Mede II was killed by an unknown assailant", whether it was DB or not. And wouldn't the death of Titus Mede II pretty much assure the war with the Thalmor will start up again? I mean with things being how they are in Skyrim at the time [The Schism, Dragons back, Empire pretty much being Thalmors [censored]]. I just feel they added in a major turning point in the lore without finishing it.
